HUMANS AGE 16+ and DOGS 6+ MONTHS*, BEGINNERS
Dogs, like people, love to learn new things at any age of their lives, with all the same benefits: mental stimulation, physical exercise, increased confidence and the joys of cooperating with a valued partner. This is the golden age of dog sports with more ways than ever before to deepen your bond, have fun, and earn titles and ribbons. This class will give you a taste of Parkour, Rally, Agility, Barn hunt, Tracking and Tricks training. Activities will be safe foundation behaviors suitable for dogs and people at all levels of physical fitness. Included for each sport will be information on how to follow up on your new interests.
Must provide evidence of basic vaccinations. Mixed breeds and rescues are welcome. No previous obedience training required but dogs will sometimes be working near each other. You must be able to control your dog on leash and get its attention with food. Class will be tailored to weather conditions and dog temperament. Depending upon the activity, dogs may be worked one at a time.
