Exploring is awesome!
ADULTS & YOUTH AGES 10+
We’re natural-born explorers; all we need is a lively intro to map reading techniques to open up adventures in our local parks. This is a great way to introduce orienteering, a sport which combines racing with navigation. Check out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OZOI9kKuA4I. Learn the elements of a good map, commonly mapped features, orientation & relocation, thumbing & contours and the joy of knowing where you’re going!
