Start making music with Ukulele. If you have been considering playing ukulele and are ready to take a test run, this workshop is for you! During this introductory session, you will learn some basic chords and strums and be playing simple songs by the end of the workshop. In addition, you will learn some basic music theory. No note reading required!
Introduction to ukulele is geared toward folks who have no playing experience whatsoever and would like to sample playing ukulele with an encouraging and patient instructor. This also makes a great refresher for those with some playing experience. Youth 7- 16 welcome if accompanied by a parent. This is a great opportunity to nurture your child’s creativity!
Bring: 4 String Ukulele (free Loaners are available upon request) and the recommended text “Ukulele from Scratch” which you can purchase online or from instructor.
