The goal of Road Runners Club of America is to see a youth running club in every school and community in the U.S. Each meeting we will have short discussions regarding health and fitness followed by physical activity. We will focus on proper form, running etiquette, stretching, warming up, cooling, down and fun. Every day we’ll head out on the trails and fields of Community Park. Be prepared to participate rain or shine, and help create a supportive environment for your teammates. Coach can meet students at the SW South Campus flagpole after school and escort them to the program. If requesting this service, notify staff, provide teacher’s name, and update Pick-Up Patrol service. Runners should be able to walk/jog a mile in 12 minutes. Great conditioning for other sports during the year! Preregistration required.
