Sloth Army Walking Club

Does running for exercise seem overwhelming? Are you looking for a fun and engaging way to move and exercise in a low intensity setting? Let Sloth Army show you how much fun working out can be in an easy walking-centered routine. Focus on mobility exercises and low impact movement. Join the Sloth Army and see why when you go sloth, you never go back! If you want to start an exercise program but have hesitations due to mobility concerns or anxiety, this may be an excellent class to ease you into a fitness program. Participants should be able to walk at a normal pace for up to 30 minutes.

Location: Parks & Rec Building Room 111
Instructor: Pattie has 15+ years experience working with animals and has developed a program focusing on the same principles of positive reinforcement, behavior modification, and enrichment. Her motto is “Eat clean, live green, train positive”. Pattie believes working out should be the highlight of your day, and seeks to make it as fun and engaging as possible. She is a certified personal trainer and coach.

Head Start Fitness Challenge
Adults 18+

Get a jump-start on developing healthy eating and fitness habits before the holidays hit us. In this 8-week program attend nutrition classes and fitness seminars as well as group workouts. Join this group and make your wellness a priority! Learn healthy substitutes for favorite holiday treats. Discover exercises and workouts that motivate you in fun and positive ways. Meal plan, recipes, and workouts provided to all participants. Start your holiday season with a new, better you!
