Skyhawks Sports Academy

AGES 4–7

This multi-sport program was developed to give children a positive first step into athletics. The essentials of baseball, basketball and soccer are taught in a safe, structured environment with lots of encouragement and a big focus on fun. Our Mini-Hawk games and activities were designed to allow campers to explore balance, movement, hand/eye coordination, and skill development at their own pace. Youth Sailing Camp

Learn to sail with S.W. Yacht Club!

Don’t miss out on this amazing opportunity to learn to learn the basics of sailing!  Each sailor will be assigned their own boat in each session.  The course combines shore side learning with lots of hands-on, on-the-water sailing experience. In addition to sailing, students learn boating safety, basic seamanship and knot tying. The focus is on sailing and having fun.  Visit South Whidbey Yacht Club for more information:

Each student must demonstrate the ability to stay afloat for 2 minutes without a life jacket.

Instructors: Our Head Instructors are US Sailing certified and will be assisted by experienced dinghy sailors.  Sufficient staff will be on hand to ensure each participant receives personal attention.  Our priorities are safety, then fun and learning. Sailing questions can be directed to Bob at

Location:  South Whidbey Lakes. The first morning of the Beginning Camp students will meet at the Honeymoon Lake Clubhouse for swim assessment and orientation; that afternoon and the rest of the days will be at the sailing site.  Returning sailors do not need to be assessed again, but should attend this orientation session.  Intermediates will meet directly at the sailing site.
