Whidbey Island Admirals Youth Basketball
ADMIRALS HOOPS PRE-SEASON SHOOTING CAMP
Improve your shot – footwork, form, follow-through – and gain confidence heading into your upcoming slate of games. This one-day, three-hour camp will be focused on balance and form, translating into quicker and more accurate game-speed shooting. Expect to get a lot of shots from individual work (form shooting, off the dribble shooting), to pairs (catch and shoot) and small groups (pass/shoot decisions with defenders).
This camp is best suited for student-athletes suiting up for Fall and Winter school and SWISH League Basketball teams.
Admirals is a South Whidbey Youth Select Hoops (SWYSH) program. This camp is led by SWYSH president, Kevin Tempest, a former Division I Shooting Guard (Lehigh University, ’02-’05) with 15+ years of high school and youth coaching experience.
All proceeds go to SWYSH for upcoming camps, clinics, and teams.
Bring: Water and athletic shoes
Location: South Whidbey High School Main Gym
Schedule: Sunday, November 9th | 1-4pm
Fee: $50 per camper
