South Whidbey Parks & Recreation District is currently seeking applicants for the following positions. Join the team!


UMPIRES: COED SOFTBALL

Pay: $35 per game (typically 2 short games each evening). All umpire fees are paid at the end of the season.

SWPRD is seeking umpires for our Adult Coed Softball League. 100-150 players turn out each summer for this fun, alcohol-free, community-oriented league. Umpires needn’t commit to all dates, but will indicate their availability on application. Umpires will be independent contractors, not employees of SWPRD.

Recreation Program Leaders

Pay: Typically a revenue split of 80% to program leader/20% to SWPRD

We’re looking for instructors and program leaders who can offer fun and enriching programs to our community! Do you have experience teaching art, fitness, movement, dance, or sports? Do you have a great idea, hobby or something new to add to our list of programs? Contract instructors are not employees of SWPRD, they are independent contractors.
