Parent-Child Spanish Camp – CANCELLED

AGES 3–6 with a parent

Designed for parents – or grandparents – and their young preschool children to learn together from a native speaking instructor. Through play and gentle, age appropriate activities participants build a repertoire in Spanish, which becomes part of their family traditions. All levels of familiarity with Spanish are welcome.

Location: SWPRD Building, 5475 Maxwelton Road, Langley, Room 111

Mon–Fri | August 19–23 | 9:30am–1pm | $298 per family (1 parent, 1 child). For each additional family member (child ages 3-6 or adult) please include $75.

Spanish Camp – CANCELLED

AGES 7–13†

In this themed immersive art-based program taught by a native speaking instructor, campers will be exposed to the Spanish language as they participate in sports, learn traditional crafts, games and songs, sample authentic foods, and work together on preparing an original production in Spanish to the community. All levels of familiarity with Spanish are welcome.

DATE CHANGE – Mon–Fri | Aug 19–23 | 9:30am–1:30pm | $230 (Two siblings participate for $398, for each next child please add $75)

 †Older students may apply as counselors-in-training.  Counselors – in-Training (ages 14 – 16) : $75. Limited to 3 positions. An application* to maria.ellis@nwlacc.org and two recommendations** necessary to participate.

 * Free-style, explain your background and interest in learning Spanish, experience supervising younger students, and intention to assist camp instructors with activities. Artistic, dramatic, musical, or sports talent is much desired, but not required

Weekend Spanish Camp for Adults – CANCELLED

ADULTS

This lively memorable weekend with family and friends – old and new – emphasizes conversation skills in practical situations, complemented by cultural instruction, essential grammar and travel tips. Experience a dynamic & fun hands-on themed immersion with a native speaking instructor. Enjoy a broad variety of authentic cultural activities that include cooking, film, movement, songs, games and role-play. All levels of familiarity with Spanish are welcome. 12 hours of immersive experience.  Min 6/ Max 15

Fri–Sun | Aug 16–18 | Fri 6-9pm, Sat/Sun 12-4:30pm | $198  (A couple participates for $350, for each next adult family member please add $95).
