AGES 3-4, MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A PARTICIPATING ADULT

This fun sports development program introduces children to the world of sports. Parent and child work together to learn throwing, catching, kicking, hitting, and sportsmanship! Sports covered will be scaled down to your child’s size and ability, and the main focus will be on moving our bodies. Burn off some energy with us this fall while developing kinesthetic awareness, balance and coordination.

This fun sports development program introduces children to the world of sports. Parent and child work together to learn throwing, catching, kicking, hitting (the good kind), and sportsmanship! Sports covered will be fun and scaled down to your child’s size and ability, but the true focus will be on moving our bodies. Fun tools like parachutes and obstacles courses will be incorporated. Burn off some energy with us this winter while developing kinesthetic awareness, balance and coordination.

Head Start Fitness Challenge – Cancelled

ADULTS 18+

Get a jump-start on developing healthy eating and fitness habits before the holidays hit us. In this 8-week program attend nutrition classes and fitness seminars as well as group workouts. Join this group and make your wellness a priority! Learn healthy substitutes for favorite holiday treats. Discover exercises and workouts that motivate you in fun and positive ways. Meal plan, recipes, and workouts provided to all participants. Start your holiday season with a new, better you!

Location: Parks & Rec Bld, Room 111 & Community Park Picnic Shelter

Instructor: Pattie has 15+ years experience working with animals and has developed a program focusing on the same principles of positive reinforcement, behavior modification, and enrichment. Her motto is “Eat clean, live green, train positive”. Pattie believes working out should be the highlight of your day, and seeks to make it as fun and engaging as possible. She is a certified personal trainer and coach.
