AGES 7–13†
In this themed immersive art-based program taught by a native speaking instructor, campers will be exposed to the Spanish language as they participate in sports, learn traditional crafts, games and songs, sample authentic foods, and work together on preparing an original production in Spanish to the community. All levels of familiarity with Spanish are welcome.

†Older students may apply as counselors-in-training. Counselors – in-Training (ages 14 – 16) : $75. Limited to 3 positions. An application* to and two recommendations** necessary to participate.
* Free-style, explain your background and interest in learning Spanish, experience supervising younger students, and intention to assist camp instructors with activities. Artistic, dramatic, musical, or sports talent is much desired, but not required
** from a teacher or any community member, other than family

NWLA Language and Cultural Center is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization based on Whidbey Island which provides innovative resources for people of all ages to learn new languages and to better understand diverse cultures as community becomes global.
