New Outdoor Pickleball Courts

Coming in 2025, we will be adding 6 new outdoor pickleball courts in the Sports Complex.  Currently, we are working through the designs and getting ready to go to Island County to start the permit process.  In June we held a public meeting to receive public input.  The link below is to the most current copy of the court plans.  These are not finalized and are subject to changes and final approval from our Board of Commissioners.  But they do give a good idea of what the courts will look like.

Indoor Drop-In Pickleball

ADULTS, ALL LEVELS WELCOME

BRING: Water bottle, paddle (some loaners available), athletic shoes. Lockers available for session use (indoor only).

  • OCTOBER Monthly Pass – $35 – Allows attendance to any drop-in session during that month. All sessions are on a first come, first served basis. Monthly pass does not guarantee admission if session is at capacity – Monthly Pass must be purchased online – PURCHASE HERE
  • Single Session exact change paid at check-in.
    • Indoor – $5 Drop-In Fee – CASH ONLY – NO CHECKS – NO COINS – MUST USE EXACT CHANGE

Intro to Pickleball

ADULTS, BEGINNERS 
Beginner Player Course 
 Learn as you play and become a Pickler in no time! If you are new to the game or would like to brush up on your skills, this is the course for you! You will learn the basics of pickleball rules, terminology, primary skills, coordination, introduction to the court, and more. After completing the class, we hope you’ll join us for our regular Pickleball program! 

Bring: Paddle (loaner paddles are available by request at registration), water bottle, seating for sidelines (optional). We will provide nets and balls.

You may check out our portable pickleball net to use at the outdoor courts at the South Whidbey Sports Complex (soccer fields) at 5598 Langley Rd, Langley. The courts are painted in the SW parking lot. MAP

You’ll need to provide your own paddles and balls. The net may be checked out during our normal business hours, Mon-Thu 8:30-5:00 or Fri 8:30-4:30. Net check-out is free of charge. Ask us for info on court usage schedules.
