Start the New Year off with a splash! Join a fun-loving crowd for a bone chilling dive into 2025. WHY? It’s fun. Seriously! Plus, it benefits the Island County 4-H Teen Leadership Club. A New Year’s tradition since 2004. Swim at your own risk; no lifeguard on duty. Registration opens at 10:30 a.m. Splash at noon.
FEE – Only $10! – Fee includes coffee, cocoa, cookies, bonfires, music, and a downright festive event. Proceeds support the Island County 4-H (FEE DOES NOT INCLUDE SHIRT)

We’ve lowered the registration fee so that you can order your own 2025 Polar Bear Dive gear! – Shirts, Sweatshirts, and Beanies
In an effort to conserve on t-shirts and maximize fundraising, we’ve teamed up with Savage Screen Printing to offer a website with different options for Polar Bear Dive clothing that you can choose to order for yourself or others. Orders placed by 11:59pm on Dec. 19 will be available for pickup at the event. Any orders placed after the deadline can be picked up during business hours at the South Whidbey Parks & Recreation admin building at 5475 Maxwelton Road in Langley after January 15.

Location: Double Bluff Beach at 6325 Double Bluff Rd., Freeland. Limited parking is available at Double Bluff. Please plan ahead for delays in parking, and expect to walk a bit down the road.
When: Monday, January 1, 12pm Noon “Dive” (Check-in opens at 10:30 a.m.)
Fee:$10 Fee (Does NOT include shirt).
